ABOUT DR. JAWAID

Dr. Mehrin Jawaid is a Board Certified Rheumatologist who joined Arthritis and Rheumatology Center in 2022. She completed her undergraduate education at Emory University, then earned her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Georgia. She completed her Rheumatology fellowship at HCA Healthcare/USF Morsani College of Medicine Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point in Florida.

Dr. Jawaid was drawn to rheumatology because she enjoys seeing the transformative power of appropriately managed autoimmune conditions which can help patients with high level of functional impairment revert back to their baseline level of function. She values shared decision making and doing what is right for the patient. Her goal is to provide excellent patient care and make meaningful changes in her patients' lives.

Today, Dr. Jawaid is happy to be practicing and serving patients in the Metro Atlanta Area.
